This week I have a new edition to the family, please welcome Kyra. She is 11 weeks old and is gorgeous, she is a Yellow sided green cheeked Conure. She came home Sunday and has settled down really well, she loves coming out of her cage for a cuddle and at the moment seems to like pooing on my laptop LOL (mmmmm do they make nappies small enough for a bird).
She has met everyone in the family now and we all love her except that is for the cat who is petrified which has shocked me and the dog who isn't sure about her at the moment.
I have also recieved a couple of photo's of the christening gown I made for Azra's Grandaughter and as promised I have added them so you can see it.
I have to go back hospital this week for an MRI as they think the op didn't work so that means I will probably have to go through it again :( I will have to postpone standing at craft fairs for even longer.
Oh well these things are ment to try us and this certainly is very trying LOL.
Have a great week.

Happy Bank Holiday
It's Sunday morning and I am sitting here in my night wear hoping the pain would go away.
I had to go to the hospital yesterday as it seems something went wrong after my operation and now unless I am dopped up with pain killers I am in agony. Hopefully it will be sorted when I go to the hospital again on Thursday.
Anyway I hope all those that are doing craft fairs this weekend do really well and make plenty of sales. I was supposed to be having a stall at the Transport Museum in Coventry so if anyone stood this fair or knows anyone that did I would be interested in hearing how it went.
Thankyou to those that are now followers of my blog at least I know someone is reading it LOL.
I have been making another freeform bag and dabbling with a bit of felting so I will get hubby to take some pics and post them later.
Anyway that's enough of me for now.
Big Hugs to all.

Bored of sitting on my bum
Well it is a week now since I had my operation and up until now everything seems to have worked. I am not allowed to do loads of things which is really hard, you go in the kitchen to make a cuppa and see the tea towel on the floor you are going to bend and pick it up. I am not allowed to bend, stretch or lift mmmm ok so what is there left that I can do LOL. So basically I have sat on my butt and just crocheted and then crocheted some more, you might think well that's not so bad but believe me it will drive you nuts eventually especially if like me you have a hubby and 3 kids that walk over things instead of picking them up.
Ok I have now bored you with my moaning and put you off coming back, well hopefully I haven't and you will keep coming and checking back.
Oh if you want a laugh take a look at the video clip I have added, it is my hubby and his colleagues at the 2009 Queen convention doing the staff act. My hubby is the one in the leathers enjoying himself a little too much.
Hvave a great weekend and enjoy the sun.

The sun haas got his hat on.
It's a gorgeous Sunday morning and I am sitting inside with a stinking headache :( come on pills hurry up and work.
I finally finished the lilac dress and it is in Dubai as we speak and then going to Russia, now that is one travelled dress. I have now finished the christening outfit so that is all ready for when the baby is born in a couple of weeks time, apparently indian babies are christened at 6 days old. There you go you learn something new every day LOL.
I have enquired at the Leicester Market about having a stall as they are doing good deals for new traders, that has now got me really fired up and raring to go. So I am busy making lists of what I need for the stall and price lists, I have decided to perhaps do the stall at the end of May as this will give me a month to recover from my surgery that I am due to have later this month.
Hopefully later I can up date the pics and you can tell me what you think of the outfits.
Enjoy your Sunday and hopefully the sun.

The start of my BLOG
Good Morning
Well it's the start of a new week again and I am wondering what it has in store for me. I hope everyone had a good mothers and got plenty of pampering, my kids seem to think that if they get me a card then they have fulfilled their duties LOL.I am in a mad rush at the moment trying to get a commission finished for Wednesday, it is a pretty lilac knitted dress for a 2 yr old who lives in Russia. He nan Azra wants to send it to her for the winter and we all know what the winters are like in Russia Freezing.I also have a crocheted christening gown on the go as well for the same lady, I do take on some tasks but if it helps get me known then it is worth it.I will try to get pictures of both garments posted as soon as I get 5 minutes to myself.
